Thierry Vallat, a member of the Paris bar, has a DEA post-graduate degree in private Law from the University of Paris XII (1985).
He founded his own Law Firm in Paris in 2011 with a subsidiary office in Tallinn.
Before this, he was Legal Director of the Banque Générale du Commerce for almost 10 years, then a senior associate in notorious Paris law firms. He is a recognized expert in the fields of IT, personal data protection, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology regulations.
He managed numerous information technologies files as well as investment projects and his areas of expertise also include business litigation, drafting of IT contracts or contracts relating to e-commerce and intellectual property questions.
As a lawyer who speaks tech in plain language, he regularly handles law questions in the tech sector for French medias and is a regular consultant for French and foreign TVs and press, as well as he enjoys recognition for his blog and legal articles.
He is an active member of “Association de droit des robots” (ADDR) and develops a deep passion for IA and ESport. And that’s rare enough, but he combines it with negotiating skills and an obsession with finding the perfect takeaway lemon pie.
