Chinese-style mining: motherboard with 12 video card slots
SUPoX has announced the launch of the motherboard with 12 video card slots specially for cryptocurrency miners, according to the 3dnews portal.
SUPoX B250A-BTC PRO device has 11 PCI-E x1 slots and single PCI-E x16 slot. It allows to put 12 video cards for cryptocurrency mining within one board.
It also includes Intel LGA1151 socket and B250 chipset, allowing to use Skylake-S and Kaby Lake-S processors. The board supports up to 32 Gb DDR4-2400 RW memory. It is equipped with PS/2 mouse and keyboard slots, 3.0 and 2.0 USB ports, audio card, and Realtek network controller. A single video output is available: DVI-D.
The company decided to use a slightly stripped down ATX format sized 295 × 210 mm. This option allows to put the board in a standard computer. It can be used for PC user’s common daily requirements if necessary.
